Hello ladies :)
So, As you know, I went THRIFT SHOPPING !!!!!!!!!!! 



Yes, yes ! Thrift Shopping !! Hahahaha. I probably squealed in excitement for the first time I went there :x
Its Normal Okay? Well, I never knew Singapore had any thrift shops till I was 19. Oops.
I probably lived under a rock or something :/




Before I move on to telling you about which thrift shop I went, what loots I got, here's some background information on Thrift Shopping ! :)

"Background Info" :
1) The clothes might be Brand New/Used BUT hey! You're doing a good deed :) 
Get prepared that not ALL clothes there are brand new. There are people who donates their clothes to the thrift shops so that the thrift shops earn money and donate them to charity or put to good use.
One example will be the Salvation Army.

2) You can just bring less than $50 !!!
Be it on budget or not, thrift shopping is a GREEEEAAAAAAT way to satisfy your shopping needs and save money at the same time. 

3) Be prepared to be disappointed
Like I mentioned earlier, clothes there aren't all brand new, some may be even used more than once. However, sometimes you do get some great finds like F21, Love Bonito, H&M , Top Shop :)
You'll also be able to find lots of vintage stuff, since vintage is coming back to a trend, it might be a good opportunity to source there !!!

SO !! Lets Move down to my Thrifts destination !!!!

My 1st Destination : new2u Thrift Shop ($1 onwards)

new2u thrift shop is actually owned by Singapore Council of Women's Organisation. The shop itself is actually "run" by friendly and nice volunteers. Though the place was a bit warm outside (I guess its just me), but the shop inside was air conditioned.

 There are clothes lanes outside and inside of the shop. The outside ones are sorted into different categories like "Womens dresses", "Womens Tops", "Pants" , etc.  There are also Shoes, Bags and Books up for sale :)


Inside of the shop, as you can see are MORE CLOTHES !! These racks inside consists of more expensive or branded clothing so you might want to take a look ;) Sometimes you might find one piece from River Island, ASOS, Armani Exchange, etc !

So here's what I got ! :)

The day I went was Tuesday which was STUDENTS DAY !!!
ALL STUDENTS GET 50% OFF :)
You do the math ! How much do you think I've spent? ;)

1. T-shirt Monday
2. Every Tuesday is Student 1/2 price day
3. Skirt/Men trousers Wednesday
4. Shoes Thursday
5. Surprises Friday
6. Monthly : All items (Except Books, Jewellery , Watches & Toys are at HALF PRICE on last 2 working days of the month
